Church Board

  The Church Board consists of 11 elected members and the Moderator, Clerk, and Treasurer. Elected members have two year terms and are restricted to two full consecutive terms. The overall work of the church is managed and carried out by the Church Board.
 
 

Church Board member

    Eleven are elected by the congregation for two year terms with maximum of two consecutive terms.
 
 

Church moderator

    Elected by the congregation for a two year term with maximum of two consecutive terms. Serves as chair of the Church Board and presides over all meetings of Church Board and congregation.
 
 

Church clerk

    Elected by the congregation for a two year term with maximum of two consecutive terms. Serves as secretary of the Church Board
 
 

Church treasurer

    Elected by the congregation for a three year term with maximum of two consecutive terms. Maintains accurate financial records.
 
 

Assistant treasurer

    Selected by the Church Treasurer in cooperation with the Church Board
 
 

Gifts Discernment Committee

    Consists of 6 persons appointed by the Church Board. Responsible for conducting a Time and Talent Survey each year and using the results to discern one person for Moderator, Clerk, Treasurer, and the 11 members of the board for election by the congregation. The Committee will select members for open positions on all commissions.
 
 

Staff Supervisory Committee

    Four persons appointed by the Church Board with term of 4 years. Make recommendations to Church Board regarding church staff, take leadership in interviewing and recommending future staff, conduct annual staff evaluations.
 
 

Auditing Committee

    Church Board appoints three persons with one year terms to examine records of the Treasurer each year.
 
 

Retirement Board rep

    Appointed by Church Board to serve on board of local retirement home.
 
 

Child care coordinator

    Appointed by Church Board to coordinate childcare services during worship services and other congregational activities.
 
 

Correspondent for Denominational Paper

    Appointed by Church Board to provide monthly update of congregational activities to denominational newspaper.
 
 

Mission/Service Endowment Committee

    Three people appointed by Church Board to manage and recommend use of endowment for mission and service projects.
